A New Start for the Voluntary Sector in Blaby District

Voluntary Action Blaby District was successfully launched on 1st April 2007 following the amalgamation of the Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) for Blaby District and the District's Volunteer Centre.

With the hard work and goodwill of the volunteer board members, staff from both organisations and our funders, the merger has been achieved with very little disruption to the services we provide.

Following discussions with Blaby District Council we are particularly excited that our respective visions for the area are coming to fruition. The new community and leisure resource centre for the whole District, situated in Huncote, will be our single base from June.
